HEAR YE, HEAR YE – 10 DAYS UNTIL BAGDAD RODEO’S “MESSAGE ESSENTIEL”
As the second installment of a massive project, QUATRE - PART.2, the "endless album" by Bagdad Rodeo, is a ruthless, snarling, and resolutely politically incorrect rock opus. True to their sarcastic DNA, the band delivers ten timely tracks driven by an implacable rhythm section, offering a vital outlet for both teenagers and adults thirsting for freedom. The first single, titled MESSAGE ESSENTIEL, drops on February 27, 2026, just to set the tone.
Single Release Schedule:
February 27, 2026 – Message Essentiel
March 06, 2026 – Punk Charmant
March 13, 2026 – Rock N’ Roll Loser
March 20, 2026 – Super Baltringue
March 27, 2026 – Climatocomplotiste + Full Album Launch…
The immersion begins with Message Essentiel, a radical first single that subverts the softness of "cuddles" (papouilles) into a screaming rage against the corruption of the powerful. On the album, the band follows up with Réac Man, a scorching parody of the reactionary, misogynistic male in a style somewhere between Souchon and Faith No More, before taking aim at unbridled obscurantism with Climatocomplotiste. Lucidity reclaims its rights on Rock N' Roll Loser, where self-deprecation dismantles the rockstar myth, before sliding into the distress of Quand Tu T'en Vas, a pathetic ballad on emotional dependency with sounds worthy of The Stranglers.
The album then solidifies its identity with Punk Charmant, a generational manifesto refusing the obligations of the docile adult, then explodes with Super Baltringue, a ferocious charge against the hypocrisy of political elites. The tension peaks on the visceral Liberté, Égalité, Sécurité, which denounces police repression with an energy reminiscent of London Calling. Facing digital dehumanization, Idiocratie Artificielle casts an anxious gaze on our hyper-connected world, before Symphonie Militaire brings the album to a close. This poignant, grunge-inflected conclusion on the absurdity of war—recalling the likes of Trust or Boris Vian—leaves the listener pensive in the face of the soldiers' sacrifice. While the album ends in a moment of reflection, hope remains: the QUATRE adventure is, by definition, endless.

New Release J’attends l’été by Paul Péchenart
Paul Péchenart's new album (releaase date : february 13), « J'attends l'Été » (I'm Waiting for Summer), showcases a rare thematic and emotional richness. If we were to give it a cinematic classification, it would be that of a dramatic comedy: the lightness of certain sequences sits alongside darker atmospheres. It is from this controlled opposition that the album draws its depth and distinct character.
The overall mood is marked by a gentle melancholy, which is constantly nuanced and illuminated by flashes of a resolutely sunny enthusiasm.
Chronicle of the Everyday
« J'attends l'Été » is primarily a sensitive chronicle of daily life, a collection of stories, feelings, and sensations. The album offers a privileged perspective on the singular and sharp way Paul Péchenart, founding member of DOGS, views the world and the individuals who inhabit it.
This work is consistent with the career path of this authentic French rock guitarist. True to his approach, he favors alternative scenes and audiences who appreciate an authentic, uncompromising, and grassroots spirit.
Spontaneity and Subtlety
Like all his previous work, « J'attends l'Été » is a concise, direct, and spontaneous album. While never resorting to unnecessary complexity, Paul Péchenart demonstrates a remarkable attention to detail and precision.
This high standard is reflected in the crystal-clear lyrics and the subtly rich production. The latter reveals itself progressively to the listener: a riff, a discreet note, or a new meaning to the words emerges with each new listen. By using only a few essential ingredients, Paul Péchenart proves his unique ability to craft genuine musical treats.

It is from the fabric of everyday life that the artist draws his raw material, offering the listener a collection of stories and sensations experienced with singular acuity. The co-founder of the legendary DOGS affirms his identity as an authentic guitarist, viscerally attached to a raw truth without artifice, faithful to the alternative scenes that forged his path. His pen, with limpid clarity, casts a gaze upon the world that is as lucid as it is empathetic.
Far from vain complexity, the work favors brevity and spontaneity without ever sacrificing meticulous detail. The production, rich in a subtlety that is tamed over successive listens, gradually reveals the elegance of a riff or the new resonance of a verse. By dexterously handling a few essential ingredients, Paul Péchenart manages to craft true sonic delicacies, proving that simplicity is often the shortest path to emotion.

The single « It’s Such a Nice Place » by Jay and The Cooks
SUCH A NICE PLACE, Jay and The Cooks' sixth album, will be released on February 27, 2026. This opus, composed of original works and urban legends by Jay Ryan, offers a daring mix of rock, folk rock, punk, blues, Americana, and offbeat country. The album's release is preceded by five singles, the first of which, “It's Such a Nice Place,” is available on November 14, 2025.
In country music, it was said that songwriters, in search of ideas, would read newspapers to find good stories to turn into songs (such as a train accident for “The Wreck of the Old 97,” sung by Johnny Cash, among others). Well, Jay tried it! Basically, he talks about a serial killer, but the real subject is the neighbors' reaction: "He was such a polite and friendly person, and nothing ever happens here… It's such a nice, quiet place… We had no idea…" This isn't a country song. You can hear the influence of the Talking Heads and Captain Beefheart, a touch of Tom Waits and Nick Cave, and even a little something from Les Rita Mitsouko. It's funky, but you probably won't feel like dancing!
To highlight the richness of Jay Ryan's short stories, a series of five singles will be released according to the schedule below, offering listeners a taste of the album's many facets:
It's Such a Nice Place: November 14, 2025, Talking Heads vibe, dark and haunting funk
Senators Have Kids: December 5, 2025, Bo Diddley, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana meet, rock and protest song
The Bitcoin Boogie: December 26, 2025, ridiculous words and music to talk about cryptocurrency. Alan Vega inspired by old blues
The man who never smiled: January 18, 2026, a country song that makes no one laugh
Digital Dude: February 6, 2026, about people who hide behind their computer screens, devouring YouTube videos and podcasts
ALBUM: “SUCH A NICE PLACE” - released February 27, 2026 (pre-sale now)

QUIET BLUE by Thibault Renard
QUIET BLUE, from trumpeter and oenologist Thibault Renard, is an acoustic Jazz album – organic, born of air, wood, and time, just like a fine vintage wine.
QUIET BLUE (out 10 october 2025) reveals itself as a profoundly nuanced, delicate, and spontaneous jazz work, recorded in a single day. Its compositions seem to have matured with the patient slowness of nature taking its time, yet they surprise with their sudden appearance, like a flower blooming without warning. This album by Thibault Renard is imbued with the very sap of a human life, that of an artist striving to stand firm against the adverse winds.
The very existence of this opus is inseparable from the contributions of David Sauzay (soprano and tenor saxophones), Daniel Gassin (piano), Mauro Gargano (bass), and Andrea Michelutti (drums). Their art of improvisation, immediate listening, and remarkable sensitivity have breathed palpable life into each track.
